Mission- To Create the Anna Art District

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Aubre' Murphy, founder of Anna Art Council and 4th Street Art. With over 25 years of experience in the art world and a proven track record of creating impactful art programs, I am committed to enriching the Anna community through the arts.

As an artist and community advocate, with Warpaint Project, Inc. my family contributed to the lives of 414 families by donating paintings to families facing medical challenges. This experience has shown me the transformative power of art in bringing people together and uplifting spirits.

Since moving to Anna in 2022, I have discovered 41 artists and 11 teachers eager to share their talents. Imagine the joy and pride our community would feel if we could bring these artists together, showcase their work, and create a vibrant arts center. The arts have the power to unite us, inspire us, and make Anna a place where creativity flourishes. To realize this vision, we need the support of local businesses.

Research shows that arts communities drive economic growth, attract tourists, and create jobs. For instance, McKinney's investment in its art community grew from $2.3M to $13.8M in one year, and Denton's art community contributes 38% to its economy. Supporting our initiative will foster a thriving arts culture in Anna, benefiting the entire community.

For Anna's Artists

One of the most difficult parts of being an artist is locating opportunities to show your work. With Anna Art Council, we bring your art in front of our community with classes you host, exhibits featuring your work, on our website, and art magazine, on e-commerce, with print-on-demand, Gallery, and events.

For Anna's Economy

When Artists hold events in our community, even if we do not sell a single piece of art, our crowds will need lodging, food, dining, products, and services. As we open, everyone benefits, in a phenomenon called the 'economic powerhouse' that is the Anna Art Council.

Communities with Paint & Sip, Art workshops, Art Galleries, Art Exhibitions, and Art shops, boutiques, and arts organizations, give people who are not likely to try art, some of their first experiences. Art is entertaining, theraputic, fun, and fulfilling- we cannot wait to show you!
